Kevin Barrett, LCSW

Kevin Barrett (he/him) is a Chicago based psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker. He specializes in psychoanalytic psychotherapy helping people gain a better understanding of themselves and their relationships. He is a candidate at the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis with specialized training in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and the mental health needs of the queer community.
Kevin is a lecturer at the University of Chicago’s Crown School of Social Work where he teaches courses on psychodynamic theory and psychedelic-assisted therapy.
Outside of work, Kevin enjoys writing, open water swimming, bouldering, and spending time with his senior pitbull.
